How or where do people buy a Lifestyle Gift Card?
Lifestyle Gift Cards are available in over 10,000 stores across the UK — including ASDA, Co-op, Boots, Home Bargains, WHSmith and Sainsbury’s. You can also buy them online through Funky Pigeon and on our website.

What happens if there is a customer service issue?
Our team will always do their best to sort things internally first.
If we do need to reach out, we’ll use the contact details you gave us during onboarding — just to keep things running smoothly for everyone.

How do I get in touch if I have an issue or question?

What happens if someone refunds their purchase?
If a customer refunds their purchase, this will be treated as per your normal return process for eGift Cards.
This still counts as a successful redemption as we pay for the eGift Card at the point of transfer to the customer.
How will people find me amongst all the brands?
Customers can search by product, brand, or category — giving your business plenty of ways to be discovered. It’s a powerful brand discovery tool that our customers love exploring.
What's the user journey?
It’s easy and straightforward:
1. The customer creates an account and redeems their Lifestyle Gift Card.
2. The balance appears as credit in their account.
3. They swap their credit for an eGift Card from their chosen retailer (that's you!).
4. Your Retailer eGift Card is emailed to them and saved in their 'eGift Card Wallet' on our website.
From there, they shop directly with your store (either online or in-store, depending on what you have available).
What are the commercials?
We simply buy your eGift Card at a discounted rate to the face value which it is sold. This is our commission rate.
You'll be paid promptly every month, per your agreed payment terms.
No surprises, no hidden fees.
How do I become a partner?

After that, we’ll send over the onboarding documents to proceed with becoming a partner.
How long does it take to sign up?
Not long at all - onboarding usually takes around two weeks and we'll walk you through it, every step of the way.
Are there any fees involved?
There are no upfront fees — we only take a commission when a customer chooses to swap their Gift Card with your store.
Do I need an eGift Card?
Yes — the Lifestyle Gift Card works by letting customers swap their credit for your eGift Card.
What Gift Cards will I go on?
All partners are featured on our most popular Gift Cards — Ultimate, Happy Birthday, Thank You, Congrats, and our seasonal Christmas Cards.
Depending on your product, you might also appear on one (or more!) of our category cards, like Sustainable, Home, Eat, Fashion & Beauty, or Small Business Sunday.
It’s all about finding the best fit for what you offer, plus, more gift cards means more exposure for your brand.
What forms need to be completed to onboard?
To get you fully onboarded, we’ll need a few bits of paperwork:
- New Supplier Information Form
- eGift Card T&C's
- Contract and Self Billing Agreement

How will I be promoted as a small business?
We offer plenty of ways to get your name out there!
You can choose paid marketing opportunities like banner and email placements — or join in on our monthly Instagram giveaways for free (excluding the cost of your prize) for even more exposure.

How much does it cost?
It’s completely free to sign up and stay on the platform.
The only cost is a small commission — and that only applies when a sale is made.
How long do I need to sign up for?
Our initial partnership term is 2 years. We’re at the beginning of building a standout portfolio of brilliant small brands in the multi-choice gift card space — and that takes time. We’re excited for you to be part of this journey with us.
Can I sign up as a sole trader?
Yes — big or small, we love you all! We welcome businesses of all sizes.

Can I onboard if you already have my competitor brands on the Gift Card?
Yes — absolutely.
We’re all about offering customers more choice, so we’re happy to welcome partners from the same industry or market. There’s room for everyone.
How do I get my eGift Card to you?
Our Partnerships team will get in touch by email when we need your eGift Card.
You will need to pre-generate eGift Card Codes at predetermined denominations and share them with us. We then send them directly to our customers when they choose your eGift Card.
What terms and conditions should my eGift Card have?
We’ll need to know any key restrictions your eGift Card comes with. For example:
- Is there a maximum number or value of eGift Cards that can be used in one transaction?
- Can it be used alongside other offers or promotions?
- Are there any product exclusions or expiry limits?
Sharing these details helps us set the right expectations for customers — and makes their journey smoother with your brand. We'll get these details from you during the onboarding process.
What expiry do my eGift Cards need?
Your eGift Cards should be valid for at least 24 months, but the longer the better here!
What denominations of eGift Cards should I create?
We usually ask for £10, £15, £20, £25 and £50 options — but this can vary depending on what you sell.
How many eGift Cards do I need to create?
We can accept as many codes as you’d like, though we aim to set a sensible amount based on your business size to avoid unnecessary admin. Some partners prefer to provide a year’s worth upfront, while others top up every few months — we’ll chat through what works best for you when you sign up.
How do I create eGift Cards for Lifestyle?
You’ll need to have your own eGift Cards set up on your website — the same ones you already sell directly if you have a gift card programme.
There’s no integration or development needed. When a customer swaps their Lifestyle Gift Card credit for your brand, they’ll receive one of your standard eGift Cards from us — just as if they’d bought it from you directly.
Do I need to send physical gift cards?
Nope - we only work with your eGift Card Code.
We work exclusively with eGift Cards with our partners. It’s quicker, simpler, and better for the planet too.
Can I get my logo on the front of the card?
You can! We conduct print runs every year, and there’s an opportunity for partners to feature their logo on the front of our Gift Cards for a set fee.
Can I promote you on my social pages?
Absolutely — we love a shoutout! Check out our Partners Hub for ready-made social media templates, our logos and more.
How do I get paid?
We like to keep things simple for our partners.
When you join, you can opt to sign a Self Billing Agreement — that just means we raise invoices for you, so you don’t have to.
You will then receive an email on the 1st the month with a report and invoice, covering all redemptions from the month before. You’ll then get paid per your agreed payment terms.
Your payment will be the total value of Gift Cards sold, minus commission.
So: fewer admin headaches, more time back for you.
How many redemptions can I expect?
Redemptions vary from brand to brand — some see higher volumes than others. With over 2 million customers, joining Lifestyle gives you valuable brand exposure and the opportunity to reach new shoppers, not just through redemptions but as a powerful awareness and acquisition channel too.
