1989
Red Letter Days is born and pioneers the concept of giving experiences as gifts. In 2007 'RLD for Business emerges as customers independently start to use experiences to Reward, Recognise and Motivate.
2011
Lifestyle Gift Card launched. Now the number one gift voucher in the market with 200+ retailers.
2018
Motivates is born having been acquired by the management team at Red Letter Days. New laser focus on providing our customers expert reward, recognition and gifting solutions.
2020 - 2021
Lifestyle goes on sale to the public in nationwide retailers like Sainsburys, Asda and WHSmith, instantly becoming a favourite gift for millions of people around the UK.
2022
Launching direct to customer sales online, allowing our millions of already happy instore gifters to buy their go-to gift cards at the click of a button.
Lifestyle Gift Card, part of Motivates is B Corp Certified
In August 2022 we joined the ranks of over 4000+ companies (including many of our life:style Gift Card customers) who are using business as a force for good by becoming a B Corp certified business.
B Corp was established in 2006 and is the first and only certification for businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.
We've always worked hard to focus on our core purpose as well as our profit and being B Corp certified signifies that we are 'walking the talk' and are committed to being a sustainable and ethical business.
